Nyati Wilderness is home to an expansive 12 500 hectares of beautiful bushveld located between Vaalwater and Lephalale in the Waterberg, Limpopo. This wilderness area boasts 3 of the Big-5, many different species of plains game and other interesting wildlife that wander between the many rivers, dams, mountains and plains.

In summer we are inundated by abundant birdlife and form a very important breeding area for both birds and other game. The crystal-clear night skies will inspire and amaze with stunning full moon rises. Wonderful locations provide for romantic sundowners. Nyati Wilderness is part of the UNESCO’s Biosphere Reserve.

“The Waterberg Biosphere Reserve represents a considerable area of savanna biome of Southern Africa and contains a high level of biological diversity including many Orange Listed species of conservation concern, and many endemic species.  Habitats are sufficiently represented to ensure that the current high biodiversity is maintained.  The low human density ensures large areas of unspoiled wilderness and open spaces are a main characteristic of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve.”

Recently acquired in 2018 the farm is undergoing very exciting additions such as large new dams, a landing strip for aircraft and helicopters, increasing game stock and other exciting projects. Watch this space!
